Leslie Korn is a renowned expert in mental health nutrition and a traumatologist who has provided over 70,000 hours of clinical treatment to diverse populations using non -pharmaceutical methods for mental and physical illness. She lived and worked in the jungle of Mexico for 25 years. She completed her graduate training at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health where she conducted research on nutrition. She is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor and is Nationally Certified as a Clinical Supervisor. She is Certified as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, National Board Certified in Polarity therapy, ) and National Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). She is the author of 9 books including Nutrition Essentials for Mental Health: A Complete Guide to the Food-Mood Connection (Norton, 2016), Rhythms of Recovery: Trauma, Nature and the Body (Routledge, 2012), and Natural Woman, (Shambhala, 2019)
